Miyama Ouan is known for its exceptional Japanese-style breakfast and dinner, often featuring Kaiseki cuisine. Many guests appreciate the included perks like complimentary beer, milk, late-night ramen, and especially the available private onsens. The rooms are well-appointed; some include private, though small, onsens, futons, and separate living areas. While the location is convenient for the bus terminal, some guests have found that dinner times can feel a bit early.

The outdoor onsen was relaxing. It featured a great view.
The staff did NOT explain the shabu shabu dinner. We had to use a translator to understand the process.

The private onsen was acceptable, i suppose. It did have a view of some trees.
The marshmallow roasting was a joke. they ran out of marshmallows before 6 pm. The fire pit area only had a pathetic pile of sad, singed remains. also, the staff's english was minimal, bordering on nonexistent. Asking about dinner options was like pulling teeth.
